WHO IS Dimitri?

Dimitri was born Spanish Town, Jamaica, and primarily raised in Munich, Germany. There he attended Munich International School until 2013, after which he began Studying acting at NYU’s Tisch Schoo of the Arts until 2017. Its there he came into contact with a multitude of Acting and creative development practices, like the Meisner technique, Williamson Movement, and a plethora of other practices he still makes use of in his creative disciplines today.

Not long after signing with German acting Agent Baumbauer Actors, Dimitri was offered the part of Randall in the first season of NETFLIX’s Hit Series: Warrior Nun. It's after this he began his foray into the German television landscape, getting a couple Mainstay names like, Polizeiruf 110, Die Chefin, Die Kanzlei, amongst others, under his belt. As his interest are widespread he decided to go on tour with the Komödie am Bayrischen Hof Theatre at the beginning of 2020.

After his Theatrical run, Dimitri celebrated his Cinema Debut with his Feature Film BECKENRAND SHERIFF directed by renown Bavarian Director Marcus H. Rosenmüller, most notably recognise from having director The Keeper in 2018.

Currently Dimitri can be seen in the Amazon Original Series LOVE ADDICTS and is set to be seen in the upcoming Hunger Games Prequel THE BALLAD OF SONGBIRDS AND SNAKES, coming November 2023.

Beyond acting, Dimitri allocates energies to writing, and directing theatrical and film projects of his own, typically centering around the themes of Heritage, Black identity and specifically growing up black in Germany. Watch his Directorial Debut here!
